Hotwire’s work on the ‘Gigalife’ platform has helped Vodafone to establish a position of thought leadership in 5G technology. Through SEO and SOV they have been able to engage with a consumer audience in a way that the core Vodafone website doesn't currently.

Vodafone came to Hotwire’s Marketing Services team with the need to create a platform to feature stories looking at life in a purpose-led, 5G connected world. Already leading the way with new 5G technologies, we discovered they needed a new way to connect and educate people on the impact of technology around the world.

I lead on the design and build of the ‘Gigalife’ content hub, ensuring it was consistent with Vodafone’s strict brand guidelines. The content hub needed to exude credibility, and accessibility through a clean, modern, and user-friendly design, with a focus on ease of navigation. It needed to feature more than just stories about Vodafone – we wanted to report on the challenges and opportunities of the digital age now and into the future, from a human-interest perspective where possible. With that in mind I drew inspiration from global cultures and the impact their technology has on humans, featuring real-life photographs that supported in telling a story.
